Back Home Refreshed

I have missed posting a new blog for a couple of weeks. Last week we spent a few days visiting some of my wife's family in Missouri and Arkansas. Then we attended the Apostolic World Christian Fellowship annual conference in Evansville, Indiana. We enjoyed great worship and preaching at the conference. Every now and then we need a boost and I'm glad we were able to go. Not only did we enjoy the conference we also were able to connect with friends we have made over the years. We got reacquainted with a pastor from Duluth, MN last year at the conference that we had known from pastoring in Minnesota in the early 90's. He was at the conference this year with his wife and one of their daughters. It was great to see them and get a chance to visit. We also connected with friends we met about a year ago from Indiana, Michigan, and Texas. Fellowship with brothers and sisters in Christ is refreshing in and of itself. In the book of Acts the early church not only continued in the Apostles doctrine but in fellowship. It is a source of encouragement and strength. In the business of life make time for fellowship. You will be blessed.
