Mark 1:40 through Mark 1:42 (KJV)
40And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 41And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean. 42And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.
Jesus is compassionate and loving. He showed compassion to a man with leprosy and healed him. Leprosy was a dreaded disease. People wouldn't want to be approached by a person with leprosy. But Jesus welcomed this man who had this great need. I believe that Jesus wants to move in our lives. We need to seek Him and let Him into our lives with enthusiasm.
It's been 37 years since I gave my heart to God. I’m still excited about my relationship with God. I still desire to feel His presence, to let the praises ring, and to let the tears flow. This is what I want to feel every Sunday in our church and every day in my life.
I want God to move in my life. He has a plan for me. I don't believe that a child of God wanders through this life aimlessly just hoping that things will work out. He wants me to prosper and succeed in my walk with Him. I believe He wants that for you as well.
I pray that God moves in your life. God will move in your home and in your family in ways we can’t comprehend. If we will seek God's will and set our heart to please Him he will bless us regardless of any negative situation in our life.
I want God to move in our church and to speak to our hearts. I believe that God can send us people that want to help and want to be a part of something greater than self. To be a part of something that will last for eternity.
2 Chronicles 20:14-15 (KJV)
14Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation; 15And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.
2 Chronicles 20:17 (KJV)
17Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.
We need the Spirit of the Lord to move in our congregation. This can be a place of healing for you. This can be a place where you get strength to live for God. Don’t be afraid or dismayed by the great multitude of resistance in front of you. The battle belongs to God. Just let Him fight for you. We don’t need to fight. We need to set ourselves, be still, and see the salvation of the Lord. Jehoshaphat and the people won this battle with worshippers instead of soldiers because God fought for them. Be a worshipper, God will fight for you.
Let God move in your life!!!
God will inspire anyone willing to listen to His voice. Listen and be inspired!

Tarry until Pentecost
1 Corinthians 16:8 through 1 Corinthians 16:9
8But I will tarry in Ephesus until Pentecost. 9For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
To “tarry” means to abide, stay, or continue. The apostle Paul said that God had put an open door in front of him. He saw a great opportunity to bring the message of Jesus Christ to people but there were many adversaries in front of him.
Pentecost was the day the Holy Ghost was first poured out upon the believers of Jesus Christ. (See Acts 2:1-4) Those there were filled with the power of God to live the Christian life. I am thankful that I have experienced my own Pentecost. I feel the power of God within me and I have the joy of the Lord in my life. Pentecost puts us in the place where God communicates with us.
In Acts 2 they tarried until they got their Pentecost. They pursued God with a passion. It was in an atmosphere of worship that they experienced God in the way that He wants us all to experience Him. I want us to create an atmosphere of worship in our church that puts us in the presence of God. There is salvation in God’s presence, at Pentecost. There is healing in God’s presence, at Pentecost. There is fulfillment in life in God’s presence, at Pentecost.
There are situations that come into our lives where we need to tarry “until Pentecost”. Life can be overwhelming. I need comfort from God. The world can’t offer it because it doesn’t come from this world. I am renewed when Pentecost comes.
We have faults and shortcomings because we are human but there is rest in the Spirit of God. If people don’t believe in you, know that God does. He gives us Pentecost for power to walk in Him and assurance of our salvation. I want to God transform me through the power of Pentecost.
God opens a great door to every believer. We just need to walk through the door he has opened. It’s a place where we experience God’s power. It’s a place where we get an eternal perspective.
Adversaries were at the original Pentecost and will be around to try and deny you of your own Pentecost. I don’t want to miss out on what God has for me.
Have you had your own Pentecost? Jesus waits at the door or you.
Today's Worship
Even before the service started, we were singing and felt God’s presence. I was sitting down when a ray of sunshine hit me for a few seconds. It made me think of how God shines on those who praise and worship Him. We could immediately feel the power of God fill the church as we began the service. I felt goose bumps as we stood in God’s presence. Tears of joy filled my eyes as I was overwhelmed by God’s great love. We are truly blessed to feel God in this way as we call out His name.
The blessing of God is waiting for you. He desires to touch you in a special way. I want to invite you to worship with us and find out how God can be everything that you need in life.
We pray for needs and believe that God hears and answers our prayers. We want to pray for your needs. Go the the Redemption Ministries web site and contact us so we can pray with you for God to move in your life.

When It's All Said and Done
I heard an expression one time that has stuck with me over the years. It goes like this "When it's all said and done more will be said than done". In this political season we have already heard more than we care to know about things that won't effect our lives. I want to know what each candidate will do rather than all of the accusations that comes from each side. But when it's all said and done we will go back to our lives as we did before the elections. The politicians will still be politicians and argue about everything while accomplishing little. That's not to say that I don't have a favorite in this race. I don't want to pay more taxes. I don't want an extreme abortionist in the White House. I don't want the government interfering in even more of my life. I want drilling in ANWR and anywhere else so that energy costs will be lower. But what matters the most in life will not change no matter who is elected. God is my refuge. He is my hope. I will continue to strive to live a life that honors Jesus Christ. That doesn't depend on a politician.
